Michael Paige

A decade of equity-market experience, as an associate adviser, an equity analyst, and most recently leading the Content team at Simply Wall St, overseeing the weekly Market Insights newsletter delivered to a global customer base.

That work shaped the editorial discipline he brings here: turn complex market structure into a story a reader can act on, without losing the nuance. Michael has been a bitcoiner since 2020, and founded Blockwise to do for advisers and business owners what the best equity-research desks do for institutional investors, offer rigour, framework, and a written record.

His view on the firm's job: help people approach this asset class with the same care they apply to everything else on the balance sheet, and document the reasoning either way. The right answer for some clients is "no allocation, here's why." That's still the firm's job to write down.

Bitcoin has experienced >70% drawdowns historically. It will likely do so again. Any client conversation we run names this explicitly and give the broader understanding of just exactly what risks are involved with Bitcoin compared to other asset classes.
